What is File Transfer?
File Transfer is the core feature of Transfer-PCM that allows you to upload and share files with others through secure, temporary links. You can share individual files or entire folders, and recipients can download them without needing an account.
How to Access File Transfer
There are several ways to access the file transfer feature:
- Dashboard: Click the "Select Files" button on the main dashboard
- Direct URL: Visit the homepage and use the upload area
- Guest Mode: You can upload files without creating an account (if enabled)
How to Use File Transfer
Step 1: Select Your Files
- Click the "Select Files" button to choose individual files
- Or click "Select Folder" to upload an entire folder
- You can drag and drop files directly onto the upload area
- Supported file types include: documents, images, videos, archives, and more
Step 2: Configure Transfer Settings
After selecting files, you can configure various settings:
Transfer Type
- Link Transfer: Creates a shareable link (default)
- Email Transfer: Sends files directly to an email address (if enabled)
Basic Information
- Name: Give your transfer a descriptive name

- Domain: Choose which domain to use for the link (if you have custom domains)
Advanced Settings
- Password Protection: Add a password to restrict access

Step 3: Upload and Share
- Click "Create Transfer" to upload your files

- Copy the generated link to share with others
